City of Ushuaia

Join me in this virtual tour and let me tell you all about this unique city!

Ushuaia is known as the City of the End of the World and has a rich and interesting history that goes from the first native inhabitants to the explorers and the missionaries. It is surrounded by the Andes Mountains and faces the Beagle Channel discovered by Captain Fitz Roy, which joins the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and is home to a varied fauna.

During this virtual tour we will tour the city, visit the Old Prision, the Malvinas Monument and the two Ushuaia signs. Then, we will tour the Mission district and several residential neighborhoods so that you can appreciate the local architecture and learn about life in this beautiful city. We will enjoy incredible panoramic views and end the visit with a Virtual taste of our Mate tea tradition in our house!

National Park

Recorded from the perspective of a passenger sitting in the car with me, you will feel like you are on the tour.

We will connect via Zoom™ and after getting to know each other we will start watching the video specially designed for you. While we watch the video, I will be guiding you live and you will be able to ask questions as we go along. Leaving Ushuaia and enjoying a panoramic view, we will head towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, travelling along National Route number 3.

We will also take some virtual walks to appreciate the local flora and fauna. Because the tour is filmed specifically for this purpose, you will feel like you are really walking through the park with me. Don't miss it!

We loved the dynamics of the intuitive video. It begins by locating in time and space; it combines history (past) present, nature, architecture... the duration makes one stay attentive and not get tired, we loved it all! It exceeded our expectations! Thank you Bar!

Barbara was available even though our boat arrived several days early. She offered us a fantastic, relaxing and unforgettable tour of the Andean lakes near Ushuaia. It was a pleasure to enjoy the day with her who is very relaxed but very knowledgeable. She gave us exactly what we needed, a tour of magnificent views in the mountains away from the hordes of tourists. The picnic by the lake with mate and cakes was a special touch. We would recommend her as a guide to absolutely everyone, a perfect day!

After the footsteps of the missionaries: estancia harberton and puerto almanza

Tierra del Fuego was inhabited by the Yaghans, who strongly opposed the establishment of the missionaries in the late 1800s.

6-hour Tour

The only one who was accepted was the Anglican Reverend Thomas Bridges, who founded the Mission in 1870 and lived there until 1886. In that year, he moved with his family to the family ranch located 70 km from the city, Harberton Ranch.

This estancia was declared a National Historic Monument in 1999 and is a very interesting visit.
The drive to the estancia is full of peat bogs and dams built by the beavers, as well as beautiful views of the mountains and the Beagle Channel. Once in the estancia, you will be able to visit the historical buildings and the museum of Marine Biology.

Then we will continue to Puerto Almanza, a small and picturesque fishing village home of the fishermen who catch the famous King Crab of the Beagle channel. You will have the option of enjoying lunch at one of the many picturesque restaurantes.
